The temperature range is from 50°C to 550°C (122°F to 1022°F), offering a great deal of flexibility for various soldering applications. This then means the heat up and recovery times are provided quicker, allowing the job to be quicker more efficient. The Weller WE 1 soldering station is ESD protected and offers a temperature accuracy of ±9°C. A standby mode allows the station to be automatically powered down to a particular temperature when not in use. This power unit is compatible with Weller WSD and WD series tools, enabling it to be used with 1000 different tool and tip combinations. There is a 3.5mm jack plug and socket on the back of the soldering unit for equipotential bonding. Equipotential bonding enables you to be ESD safe by joining metalwork that may be earthed, to avoid any potential malfunctions from ESD.Soldering IronPart of this WT 1010H soldering set is the WP 120 soldering iron, this high performance and ergonomically designed iron is great for accurate soldering. The 150W soldering iron is ideal for soldering small and large components with high energy demand. Not only does the power unit know when to go on standby, but the WP 120 also utilises a motion sensor to automatically go on standby to reduce energy costs. Interchangeable heating elements provide a great deal of flexibility when using different soldering iron tips. Easy to change out XT tips enable to quickly change out a tip if required for different tasks, without any additional tool.Soldering Iron RestThe Weller WSR201 soldering iron rest is an ideal place to keep the soldering iron when not in use.
